Cauliflower Crust pizza with bacon, corn and basil

The boys' eating has tapered off a bit. In fact, there have been a few meals where one of them hasn't eaten much of anything. George picked up a cold and I'm sure William is not far behind, so maybe it's that, but overall they're still eating plenty. In fact, William is still eating quite a bit. We went out to lunch on Saturday and Sunday and neither ate particularly well at those meals, though George did copy Daddy and dipped his tortilla chips in salsa. The next day they both were into dipping crackers into hummus. They're getting the hang of actually eating the chip/cracker instead of just licking off the dip, which is all they had been doing before.

The unofficial end of summer just passed so we had plenty of corn recipes on the menu. In fact, George saw me making dinner and husking the corn and kept whining for it, so I handed him and William one each and they went to town. Raw and everything! I think I'll try to sneak in a few more in the next week or so, but then we'll probably transition to butternut squash :)

Mon: Leftover Grilled almond-crusted halibut (from Sun. before), Chicken, Green Bean, Corn and Farro Salad with Goat Cheese (recipe; this was okay, but wouldn't necessarily make it again), broccolini
Tue: Leftover farro salad with tofu
Wed: Pasta with bacon, corn and basil (recipe), green beans
Thu: Pasta with bacon, corn and basil, peas
Fri: Leftover mac and cheese, chicken sausage, peas
Sat: Israeli couscous, cottage cheese, Miso-glazed Chilean sea bass (based on recipe featured here), peas and broccolini
Sun: Pasta with bacon, corn and basil, cauliflower crust pizza (recipe) with bacon, corn and basil

Chicken, Green Bean, Corn and Farro Salad with Goat Cheese
Dave and I also has a curry noodle dish with leftover rotisserie chicken. I used the broth/sauce from the curry I served with the halibut last Sunday and tossed with udon noodles. Delish, but too much heat for the little guys.

New breakfast:
Healthy blueberry bake (recipe), with a dollop of Greek yogurt

New lunch:
Banana and almond butter on a whole wheat English muffin (not to into this)

New snack:
Late July organic Peanut butter sandwich crackers
Pirates Booty
Black bean burger (based on recipe featured here)
Chips and salsa
Corn on the cob
Multi-seed crackers and spicy hummus
