Baby No. 3: 7 Months Along

Finally in the third trimester, it's getting real! While the focus right now is the boys' birthday and their party, as soon as that's over, we'll start ordering stuff for their new room downstairs and then I'll need to be more diligent about getting things ready for the baby. The 'second' baby is so much easier -- you don't care as much about getting things new and I'm much more willing to buy stuff as I need it instead of getting everything listed on every baby registry list. Plus, I have friends who have had their second baby and are done and are passing stuff on, so awesome!

How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain: 20 lbs (was about 33lbs by this point in the boys' pregnancy)
Maternity clothes?: Definitely! Fitted stuff seems to be most flattering but I've have had a hard finding cute maternity stuff so I still just have a lot of basics.
Stretch marks: Still nothing.
Feeling: After the break in Hawaii, I was feeling great. So relaxed, my body felt great and the spotting had stopped. Not sure if it was the five hours of sitting on the plane or just getting back to the regular routine, but day one home I was already putting the hot pad on my back. I'm taking it very easy at home; Dave is helping even more than normal, I don't lift the boys or anything else heavy, I sit down as much as possible, but the truth is that I'm still with two toddlers all day. I think I've found a good balance of not overdoing it while still being present with the boys and it's the most realistic solution at this point. Other than that, I feel pretty good. I'm definitely getting more uncomfortable (I can't believe I managed being so much bigger with 2 babies last time!), having more acid reflux and in general my body just feels tired more easily, but with 11 weeks to go, I'm not complaining yet!
Sleep: Pretty good. I can usually make it all the way through the night without having to use the bathroom which is nice since it would be hit-or-miss as to whether I could go back to sleep after going, even if it was really early. Only need naps occasionally and generally not too tired so still not getting to bed until 10:30 or so each night and waking up around 6:45.
Movement: A lot more movement over the last week (but maybe it was due to the time spent lying around in Hawaii ;) I even felt hiccups a few days ago.
Best Moment of the Week: Getting to go to Hawaii for the week with Dave. We did no activities whatsoever and it was great! So nice to fully relax, let my body take it easy and read lots of books.
Food cravings: Coming off of a week of good eating in Hawaii, both Dave and I are ready for a little detox. I enjoyed all the seafood in Hawaii, but had to be careful about how much fish I ate. Still loving eggs in the morning and probably eating more sweets than I should be (but I did pass my glucose test!).
Labor signs: Nothing new thankfully.
Belly button: Half-out most of the time, especially after a big meal :)
Gender: Love not knowing, though it would certainly make things easier to know. The SFPOM consignment sale is coming up and it would be nice to be able to get rid of more stuff and maybe even some toys, but that's definitely not reason enough to change my mind.
Looking forward to: The boys' birthday! As they get more in the know about holidays, it gets more and more fun. Dave will likely take the day off and we'll go on a fun adventure and I already have some ideas to make their actual day special. Their big bash is on the 23rd and things are looking good so hoping I won't be too stressed right beforehand. And once again, hoping rain isn't on the list of those stresses!
